“ 29 October 2022: We had lunch at Bar Caffe' Corte Cavour after a morning of sightseeing in town. Ravenna is a beautiful small with churches with fabulous mosaics. While walking around, I took a peek inside the courtyard. It was charming! There were a few empty tables, so we sat in the shade. We had a great lunch. I ordered the Ravioli di ricotta e spinaci con burro e salvia (ravioli filled with ricotta cheese, spinach, butter and sage), along with a glass of house white wine. It's one of my favorite dishes from the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy. The ravioli was so tender, perfectly cooked. My husband had the Carpaccio di bresaola con rucola e grana (beef carpaccio with arugula and parmesan). It was a beautiful display of food. He enjoyed it along with his beer. This was a perfect spot for lunch in a lovely setting. ”
